  Amelia Island Quilters!

Welcome to the Amelia Island Quilt Guild.  This Guild was established in 1988 with thirty members.  Our current membership consists of 90+ members.  The goal of the Guild is to promote quilting and educate the public about the craft of quilting.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Womens Club, 201 Jean LaFitte Ave Fernandina Beach, unless otherwise announced. Members begin to arrive at 6:30 and socialize until the meeting begins at 7:00.  Meetings consist of a program, business meeting and Show and Tell.

 Jennifer Marsh

 The Dream Rocket

Jennifer is an artist and the founding director of The International Fiber Collaborative, an initiative that addresses the growing need for arts education in the community.  In 2008, the IFC launched the Dream Rocket project, a large scale collaborative fiber wrap. Up to 8,000 fiber panels will be created by individuals around the world, and then combined to wrap the Saturn V Moon Rocket in Huntsville, Alabama. The designated theme of the panels, “Dare to Dream”, challenges individuals to expand beyond the present state of the world and imagine the future.
